local e-gov National Projects
The projects pulled together the knowledge and experience of councils, central government, the private sector and others to define and deliver key priority services and local e-gov building blocks to help councils transform the business of government and meet the Gershon efficiency agenda.
Independent reports by Capgemini on the benefits that six of the National Projects can deliver to English councils provides a substantive case for widescale implementation.
A Supplier Engagement Programme supported the adoption and rollout of outputs from the National Projects by forging positive, ongoing relationships with the supplier community.
